British Mountaineering Council

The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) are an information and service provider for climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers in England and Wales. The BMC required a site that could be kept up to date without the need for an in-house dedicated website developer. Our content management system, built in ASP.net, gives them complete control of their content.

Considering the sheer volume of information contained within the BMC website, we had to work closely with them to understand how best to present the content, whilst also keeping the design flexible enough to accommodate the many different kinds of content; this includes news items, editorial articles, video and database access. The design has proven a resounding success, prompting a phase 2 redesign to incorporate some exciting new user-centred features.
