Embarking on this venture in an already highly-competitive market, both the client and ourselves were fully appreciative of what a taxing and ambitious project this would be from its inception. With no more than a rough logo and a target demographic to work from, we set about to not only design and build the online presence but also to help build a brand that could sit comfortably with more established retailers in the women's clothing sector. Positioned to reflect the style and outlook of a glossy magazine, a clean and effortless aesthetic was favoured, complimented by high quality, bold product images.

On the face of it, the website structure seems to mimic a fairly standard eCommerce format, however, special consideration was given to the unique characteristics of the product: the product pages contain an intuitive zoom feature to fully demonstrate the exquisite detailing of the clothing; each garment is represented in front view, rear view and close-up images, in all available colourways; returns, delivery and sizing information is displayed on all relevant pages for peace of mind when purchasing. Add to this editorial content such as seasonal key trends information, and include a wishlist you can send to friends and family; the sum of the parts is a completely comprehensive and highly usable eCommerce solution - a new flagship site for Evolutia.
