As developers of an already established and respected software application, PureCM found that their existing website didn't satisfactorily highlight the benefits of the product, and the marketing effort as a whole didn't have a suitably clear direction.
We approached the project with the intention of tying these elements together across all media. Targetting both new users, and existing users in the form of developers and development managers, we had to adopt a flexible approach that highlights both the features and the practical benefits of the application.
This was reflected in new website components such as feature comparisons, success stories and the quick tour. We also highighted these features in the traditional advertising campaigns in trade magazines such as SD Times, Methods & Tools and CodeProject.
An initial success, this would lead onto Phase 2 of the website development whereupon we would further highlight the features and benefits in more digestible formats, such as by using video and interactive elements.
