Shade Station have been working side-by-side with us since 2004 when they were largely high-street based, augmenting shop sales with an under-developed eCommerce site. However, they recognised a huge potential online market and needed a complex eCommerce system to facilitate this.
Our solution was to build a website capable of handling large amounts of traffic, with a comprehensive and intuitive administrative system, allowing them to easily keep control of stock, review payments and handle dispatching.
We have also worked extremely closely with Shade Station to build their brand; with the problem domain of tieing countless disparate designer brands together, such as Diesel, Chanel and Oakley, we have created a flexible visual framework which allows us to focus on the strengths of each designer brand, showcasing their imagery, while keeping it underpinned with consistent, recognisable Shade Station brand elements.
We sought to increase engagement from their existing customer-base using aspirational, cross-merchandising techniques and editorial content, such as Celebrity Style, What's Hot and Complete the Look features. Customer retention and win-backs were facilitated through use of social media campaigns such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as competitions, regular promotional newsletters and targetted product-based emails.
